A weekend camping on the coast......

Bodega Bay - August 9-10, 2002

The first night we just drank a bottle of wine and watched the sunset. We walked to the waters edge and looked at all the starfish, crabs and sea anenomes (whoa, check the spelling on that one.) The next morning we got up, I made beakfast in our new camper kitchen, took a shower in our new camper bathroom and then we went for a bike ride. We rode further up the coast and around to the other side of the bay, then up (ack, Mike encouraged me on) and up, to the ocean side. Very pretty. The ride back was a bit easier, (more downhill than up), and we stopped for lunch at what used to be be the restaurant that was featured in The Birds (you've seen it, right?) We didn't know it was the same place, we found out afterwards (it is completely built up and totally different).

Sunday we took a hike around the ocean coastline and then drove home. A very nice weekend getaway.

The top of the hill...finally. It's a lot steeper than it looks, fortunately Mike played cheerleader to urge me on to make it all the way to the top.	That's our camper, right there.
